ASSOCIATES
As one of Stark County 's premier law practices, we have high
standards when looking for new associates. Our decision to hire
an associate will be based on the following factors:
Academic distinction This consideration goes beyond
grades to what the applicant did to distinguish him or herself while
at law school.
Personal motivation The applicant's extracurricular
activities will be considered to discern initiative and ambition
and a desire to become involved beyond the world of work or study.
A sense of responsibility The applicant's willingness
to become involved will be evaluated to determine if he or she has
gone above and beyond in the completion of his or her duties.
A sense of Civic Duty and Pride It is important
to Day Ketterer that our associates become involved with the community.
The applicant's degree of involvement will be evaluated to determine
his or her level of commitment to giving back to the Stark County
community.
In order to keep our associates at their peak of performance, Day Ketterer offers
the following to assist in their continuing development:
Associate Review Program Day Ketterer has a well-structured
program to provide for the development of the associate as an attorney.
As part of this program, the associate will be assigned both a tutor
and a mentor. Additionally, Day Ketterer provides a personalized
review of the associate each year.
Client Development Expenses To encourage client
development, Day Ketterer will reimburse certain expenses.
Country Club Membership Day Ketterer maintains
a corporate membership at Glenmoor Country Club that permits use
of the club by all of the attorneys.
Education Expenses Expenses for CLE seminars are
paid in full, upon approval.
Professional Dues Day Ketterer reimburses associate
attorneys for local, state and American bar dues. Out-of-state dues
are subject to review.
